19th Session of ICT Class

In this session,I have mainly learnt that

• the meaning of IEEE is Instittute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
• WIFI is the shortform for Wireless Fidelity
• the concept and difference between LAN,MAN and WAN

In that session,we mainly studied about computer network

18th Session of ICT Class

Today,we learnt how to coding with Microsoft Visual Basic.Before that,we are really excited because coding is really "hot" now.

The main button in the Microsoft Visual Basic are label,textbox and commandbutton.We also learnt some basic command such as :

• Smaller or Equal to: < =
• Bigger or Equal to:> =
• Equal to: =
• Unequal:< >

That day,we succeded to create a group of command after failure and failures.After this lesson,I have learnt that in the process of coding or programming,we have to accept failure to success.

17th Session of ICT Class

Today,teacher asked us to do a learning outcome based on the learning outcome 2.2 (Hardware) and pass up it on today.Some of us do it seriously but there are also some student who do it while listening to the music.The ones who concentrate on their assessment finished them very fast and the others finish it before the period ends.Many of us fought for the printer at the same time.  

Before the period ends,I hand in my learning outcome to teacher and leaved the classroom.Today we did not learn  anything.                                                                                          

16th Session of ICT Class

At first,teacher gave us a Onedrive account.Teacher said that we can upload our lesson plan,learning outcome and assesment to this website.

After that, teacher started the lesson.We learnt Learning Outcome 2.1.2 - 2.1.5 which include:

• Binary code
• relationship of data representation
• Type of Character Codes:(ASCII,EBCDIC,Unicode)
• Coding Scheme
• History of Character Codes
• The device for input and output
• What is ASCII(includes its function and how it works)
• Motherboard
• Types of storage

We have a long list of study statements that day.We felt very exciting.

15th Session of ICT Lesson

In this session,we have learnt code and program.We used the Microsoft Visual Basic 6.0 to done this.

We learnt how to make commands with basic code.We have our 1st class of creating code.Although we are panic,but we will keep exploring and do our best until we success.

14th Session of ICT Class

In this session,we started our Area 2 of ICT Lesson.We learned about Lesson 2.1-System Concept.

In this session.we have learned that:

• The meaning of Computer System
• The meaning of input,process,output and storage
• Difference between 2 computer software-system software and application software
• Computer Hardware Block Diagram

• primary storage and secondary storage
• machine cycle

• Type of output

Lastly,teacher asked us to passed up Area 2:

1. Lesson Plan(14/4/15)
2. Learning Outcome(28/4/15)

13th Session of ICT Class

In this session,teacher let us have free activities.We can use our computer to do what we want.Some of us listen to music,some watch videos and others are doing their homework.

This is why this blog is so short.

12th Session of ICT Class

This is the first day of our ICT Class after the Chinese New Year Holiday.We must prepare for our exam.
In this session,wemainly learnt learning outcome 1.4 which included :

• Computer User have:

1. Home User
2. SOHO User
3. Mobile User
4. Power User
5. Large Buisness User

• 5 Basic Steps to Study
• Presenting Result:

1. Introduction
2. Content
3. Conclusion

Besides that,teacher had also gave us some worksheet to do.Before the lesson ended,theacher asked us to hand in our learning outcome before next Monday.

11th Session of ICT Class

This is our last ict lesson before Chinese New Year holiday.Teacher teaches us based on the lesson plan 1.3.3.2.

I have mainly learnt that :

• the correct security procedures for database protection
• how to apply the security procedures
• computer security vs computer threats

After that,teacher gave us the first worksheet for our ICT class.We barely could answer the questions.In the end,we got low marks for our paper.

I knew that I must work harder because the exam is around the corner....

10th Session of ICT Class

In 10th session of ICT class,we firstly have our E-learning.We learnt about Lesson Plan 1.3.1 which included:

• Computer Security
• Personal Computer Security Checklist
• Malicious Code
• Theft

We later have our presentation which we prepared in the past 2 days.My partner and I finished it.I appreciated him for doing a great job.

After that,our ICT seniors came in and tell us the rules of dutying in computer lab.After the conversation,I understood more about our duties.

9th Section of ICT Class

In 9th section of ICT,we learnt learning outcome 1.2.3 and 1.2.4.

In this lesson,we learnt about:

• types of internet filtering
• needs for cyberlaw
• cyberlaw acts in Malaysia
• types of computer attack

On that day,we also received a group task(two people a group).My group received a title which is 'Example of Cyberlaw in Malaysia'.We have to prepare a presentation for the whole class.

7th and 8th Section of ICT Class

We did not have our 7th Lesson of ICT because that day is a holiday.Although it was a holiday,teacher prepared some homework for us which was share a youtube link based on the learning outcome 1.2.1.I shared 3 videos into the group.

Our first lesson of ICT in February started on Section 8 which was Thursday.Teacher used the computer to teach us lesson 1.2.1 and 1.2.2.

We also discovered that we must stay back for our ICT duties until 4.30 p.m.It was part of our ICT Class work.

6th Section of ICT Class

Teacher continue using E-teaching.She teached us Lesson Plan 1.1.2 this time.In this lesson,she teaches us:

• Usage of ICT in education,banking,industry,and E-commerce
• Impact of ICT society

After the lesson,I have found out that ICT is needed for our everyday life.After the lesson,we have to send our Learning Outcomes to teacher before 6p.m.

A new ICT word have been learned today : GIGO(Garbage In Garbage Out)

5th Section of ICT Class

In this section,we did our 1st lesson.Teacher teaches us by using the computer appliances.It is known as E-teaching.

On the screen,teacher shows us the lesson plan 1.1.1 which is mainly included:

• The Generation of Computer
• Usage of ICT
• a rough idea on Impact of ICT Society

It is the first time so we got curious and excited,but there is no speaker there so we cannot hear clearly the word spoken out.

After that,teacher asked us to hand in the Learning Outcome question 1.1.1 before 12p.m. and I made it.

4rd session of ICT Lesson

It is our 4th lesson now in fortnight.Fast.

In our fourth lesson,Pn Latifah did not allowed us to switch on the computer,In fact,she insists us to do some preparation which could make our future ICT lesson more orderly.

Here are some assignments she asked us to do that day:

• Create 2 new folders given by school
• Finish Lesson Plan 01-04(Topic 1.1 - 1.4)before Monday
• Finish Lesson Outcome 01-04 before 2nd March
• Lesson Plan and Learning Outcome must send in paper form and e-mail to teacher

• Lesson Plan:            At the end of this lesson,I will be able to.....
  Learning Outcome:  After the learning process,I will be able to....
• Learning Outcome questions answer type with computer

It is always good to have a plan for our daily life.

Third Section of ICT Class

In my third lesson of ICT ,I have discovered that we need to create our own lesson plan. 

Teacher said that a lesson plan is used for USA children.It is unique form other subject teaching method.Currently is more student-centered.

Puan Latifah also said that lesson plan is needed in both softcopy and hardcopy.Lesson plan must be printed out in yellow paper while learning outcome must be printed out in white paper.We also need to print out the Sukatan Pelajaran ICT and Huraian Sukatan Pelajaran ICT which she will posted it on Facebook.This must be done by Thursday.

This is just a start.......

Second Section of ICT Class

In our second section of ICT class,I have learnt that:

• How to create a blog account(www.blogger.com)
• How to write a blog

We had also created a class facebook group so that we could ask each other questions about ICT.
The class had got really more interesting......

First Section of ICT Class

In our first lesson of ICT,I have mainly learnt that:

• ICT = Information and Communication Technology
• We need computer,internet access,microsoft office and printer at home
• ICT is important for our daily life
• Learning ICT is challenging but interesting.

I have also completed the work given by teacher which is sending a email to teacher which included:

• my name
• my class
• my IC number
• my phone number
